The President and CEO of Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) Denise Amyot, the Vice President International Alain Roy today paid a courtesy call on TVET Authority Director General/CEO Dr Kipkirui Langat at his office. Present also was Prof Eric Okoth Ogur TVET Advisor to the Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha and CICan’s Senior program office Catherine Paquin, and Moritz Schmidt, Senior Technical Advisor.
The meeting was organised to brief Prof Ogur about Kenya Education for Employment Program (KEFEP) program and its collaboration with TVETA. The DG discussed ongoing work with CICan through KEFEP and how TVETA is supportive of the CICan approach to responding to partner needs.
During the meeting, they also discussed areas for future joint partnerships between TVETA, CICan and the TVET sector in Kenya.
