The Director General TVET Authority Dr. Kipkirui Langat today hosted the Director General, of Kenya Maritime Authority Eng. Martin Dzombo Munga who paid him a courtesy call in his office.
The two CEOs held discussions on how to strengthen the collaboration between the two regulatory Authorities. They further discussed how the Kenya Maritime Authority can partner with TVET institutions in the 20 Blue Economy Counties in the Country in training and skilling for job opportunities in the Blue Economy sector. The two agreed to constitute a technical team to concretize the collaboration.
The team from Kenya Maritime Authority included Mr. Heri Mwagona, the Technical Advisor to the Director General, and Miss. Sabrina Jefwa the Technical Assistant. Also in attendance were Dr. Peris Njoroge, the Deputy Director of Standards Development, and Mr. Japhet Ngeno the Assistant Director of Accreditation TVET Authority.
