Prof. Kellen Kiambati is a distinguished scholar, strategic management expert, and accomplished governance leader with over 15 years of experience spanning higher education, public service, and private sector partnerships across Africa. A multiple grant-winning social scientist and postdoctoral fellow with POSSIBLE-Africa, Prof. Kiambati’s work focuses on institutional sustainability, leadership systems, and capacity development. She has collaborated with global development partners including the World Bank, UNICEF, USAID, DFID, and GIZ, bringing strong expertise in governance, performance management, and institutional transformation.
She holds a PhD in Business Administration, an MBA in Strategic Management, and a BA in Human Resource Management. Her professional credentials include certifications in corporate governance, human resource consulting, competency mapping, psychometric assessment, project design, and talent optimization. She is also a trained Conflict Prevention and Mediation expert (Kofi Annan Peace Training Centre) and a Government of Kenya-trained Performance Management Expert.
Prof. Kiambati is an accredited member of FemWise-Africa under the African Union, a Fellow of the African Leadership Institute, a DAAD Alumna, and a beneficiary of several prestigious international leadership and policy fellowships, including Harvard, Yale, and DIES ProGrant programmes. She is a published author of nine university-level scholarly books.
