TVET Authority Director General Dr Kipkirui Langat today received a delegation from Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) led by the Chair of the Council Prof Bosire Mwebi and Vice Chancellor Prof. Romanus Odhiambo who paid him a courtesy call.

The two were also accompanied by officers from Canada’s Dalhousie University, David Parks who is a Project & Advancement Coordinator Faculty of Agriculture and Ms Lana Bos, Manager of International $ Curriculum Development Specialist at the university.

The discussion explored how local technical universities and their counterparts in Canada can partner with TVETA to improve TVET training in the country, especially in the areas of agriculture and the blue economy programs.

They also discussed the need to establish a framework to guide the collaboration between TVET institutions, local technical universities and their counterparts in Canada.

The meeting was also attended by Dr Zac Chiliswa MUST International Liaison Office and TVETA’s Assistant Director of Standards Development Mr Paul Muriithi.
