Dr. Margaret Wawuda Mwakima is currently the Principal Secretary, State Department of Vocational and Technical Training (VTT), Ministry of Education.
Dr. Mwakima holds PHD, a Masters Degree in Environmental Science with a major in Sustainable Natural Resources Management and a Bachelor of Education (Science) Degree in Botany and Zoology. She is a member of the Institute of Directors Kenya, Kenya Association for Public Administration and Management (KAPAM) as well as Kenya Association of Women in Tourism (KAWT).
